Throw in some fun here and there. The weeks are stressful, but pass by quickly for the most part. Though there is much more work to do, I would NEVER go back to high school.

And speaking of high school, you’d think that there would be no more of that silly high school drama, but it still exists. You’ll always end up being friends with someone who creates drama, but that’s ok. By the time you’re in college, you don’t care about all those little dramatic things anymore. Although, there are some pretty annoying, overly-dramatic people around here.

Sure, you end up missing your friends from high school. You were always so comfortable with each other. You always hung out with each other, that was just an understood fact. Yet, when you get to this point in your life, those friends that you grew up with and were used to being around all the time tend to fade away. Those that remain are the friends that you could never let leave your life. They are the ones that stood by you through the most difficult times of your life, the ones that you told everything to, the ones that you consider family. They never go away. But you meet lots of new friends, too! And while it may take longer to establish a best friend, the one that you tell everything to and will someday consider family, you’ll get to that point. Until then, you should open up, maybe more than you’ve ever opened up to any stranger. Talk to people, find things that you have in common, hang out. Most importantly, a college kid should always remember to LIVE IT UP!! I’ve been told that these are the best 4 years of your life. Why open yourself up to the moments that will make it so great? :)
